Acclaimed Fine Art Photographer Bea Lamar in Absolute Fantasie.
Opens December 10 – 28, 2010
Los Angeles, CA– Bea Lamar presents Absolute Fantasie, a collection of work focused on nude figures, and the feminine beauty.
Bea Lamar: Absolute Fantasie
Bea Lamar has a sense of wonder and childlike curiosity in her approach to the photographic art. She draws her inspiration from dreams and the strong unbending will of her soft and delicate subjects.
In Absolute Fantasie, Lamar explores the need to follow the raw uninterrupted emotional journey that her imagination takes her on.
The artist writes, “It’s a magical daydream that I feel so privileged to be a part of, and responsible in capturing its beauty through the lens, to ultimately be able to share that sensory experience with the world.”
Lamar lives and works in Los Angeles. Her work is included in private collections in the United States, and Europe.
The exhibition will be on view from December 10th until December 28th at 1835 South Main Street, Los Angeles, CA 90015, between 18th and Washington Street in Downtown LA. Hours are 10am to 6pm, Monday through Friday. Admission is Free.
There will be a reception for the artist on Friday, December 10 from 7:00-11:00 pm.
